  • 5 years of cumulative, paid work experience in IT 
  • Of these, 3 years must be in information security, and 1 year in at least 1 of the 6 CCSP CBK domains

Waiver Options:

 

  • CSA’s CCSK certification substitutes 1 year 
  • (ISC)²’s CISSP waives the full experience requirement 
  • You may become an Associate of (ISC)² if you pass the exam without meeting experience; you’ll then have 6 years to fulfill the requirement
